June Classes at Paper Cottage



We have some great classes scheduled this month and if you haven't been into to check them out, we thought we would bring you a sneak peak. Plus we have many of the new summer and patriotic collections in. Just when you thought paper couldn't get cuter..it does. Get a jump start on your summer time layouts with this fun layout. Tami teaches a 2-Page layout class each month, and this one is just too cute to pass up. Class: Monday June, 8th - 7pm. Only $20. As always - kits to go available for your convenience if you can't make a class.




Do you have a digital camera? Are you wishing you knew more about how to use it? Well - we have got you covered with our new photography classes. Our first series of classes starts - Tuesday -June 9th at 7pm.
Beginning Photography Class
· Learn to use the camera controls
· Aperture, metering, light control, composition, relationship to subject
· Depth of focus, Depth of field
· Understand F-stops, Shutter Speeds
· What is a shutter how it works with exposure
The Light Meter, and Metering Modes, and more.

· Get personalized help for your photo problems.

A camera with a Manual Mode or Digital is preferred

Workshops run on a weekly basis and are limited from 10 to 15 people. You may sign up for one or all workshops. You have the option of continuing to take the class each week or take one class at a time. Your spot is held by payment of your tuition. $ 35.00 per class or $115 for a series of 4 classes. About the Photographer
David Kessler is a successful photographer and has been for over 35 years. His work has been published in over 150 magazines internationally. In his studio, he has worked for celebrities, done shoots for architectural magazines, editorial and experimental work, and much more. In his workshops, he has taught basic and advanced techniques in photography and the ‘art of seeing’. David has a passion for teaching visualization, and the art of seeing and creating exciting images. He welcomes beginners to experience the joys of photography, and how to improve their work. His love for the field will inspire and move you to new creative levels.

If you have been wanting to learn how to digital scrapbook, we are offering a class with Heritage Makers on Thursday, June 18th at 7pm. This workshop is FREE but you must sign up in advance to hold your spot. Thursday, June 18th at 7pm.



If you thought our "Spring" wood letter decor was cute, wait until you see our "Summer." Gotta love those Ants! This class always fills up fast so don't procrastinate in signing up for this class. If you want "hands-on" instruction to learn how to use the Cricut die cutting machine,then we have a special introductory class that's just for you! Our experts will show you everything the Cricut can do and answer your questions, while you make these 3 cards and Card Keeper. Also in class, you will see the Cricut Design Studio software demo'd to see how easy it is to use and how much more you can get out of your Cricut machine.
Please Bring: your Cricut Machine, cutting mat, "George" cartridge, and "Doodlecharms" cartridge scissors, paper trimmer pop dots and adhesive. **Don't have George or Doodlecharms cartridge?? You will need to pay an additional $5.00 to "rent" the cartridges for class. Class: Thursday, June 25th at 7pm. $15
