May Calendar

Altered Heritage Book

Jenniefer is teaching an Altered Heritage Book on Saturday April 25th from 10am to 2pm. The price is $50 complete with all supplies. Here are a few images for you to view of this upcoming class.
Scrapbooking on a Wall - Class
Celeste is teaching our monthly "Scrapbooking on a Wall" class on Tuesday, April 14th at 7pm. Only $10. The theme is "Lets Celebrate." Perfect to frame in one of our 12x12 frames to display! Or if you prefer the two page spread, a companion page is available. This class is only $10
Spring Chicks
Our most talented Nicole is back at it again!!! If you thought the wood bunnies were adorable, check out these darling spring chicks. These are so cute, you will want to display them the entire month of April and May! They are a perfect spring accent!! Complete kits to go are only $21 or $15 for the wood only. Call 888-3966! Make this fun box!
Are you ready for another project? This one is super easy and fun to do. Its called a Cris Cross Box.
You only need a few supplies:
A Score-pal, Score tape, a cello bag, ribbon and 1 sheet of printed card stock. I used paper from My Mind's Eye, Just Dreamy 2 Line but you could use any paper you wanted. (Maybe try some of our new Easter paper.)
To start off, you will want to trim your paper to 8.5x11.
Then you will score the following measurements.
On the 8.5 side score at 4" and 4.5 ".
Turn paper and on the 11' side score at 3", 4", 7" and 8". (The score lines are in blue.)
Cut on the brown lines and be sure to cut the two side triangles.
Using the score lines as guides, fold the box and secure the sides and flaps with scor-tape.
If you like you can trim the inside flap with decorative scissors. Add ribbon and a Cello bag filled with candy or other goodies.
Don't forget a cute layered tag. Share your boxes with family, friends, teachers and children. Make up a bunch for Easter.
